Role Overview:
You will be responsible for assisting in the control of service and repair work carried out in the workshop to maximise service sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect car with customers when car is presented for service / repairs.
- Park car in line up at workshop- Place Job card in car and “display time due out” on the dash.
- Ensure vehicle health check and videos are carried out in a timely manner.
- Arrange parts from the store for technicians.
- Inform service receptionist of repair procedures and any add on repairs.
- Prepare Job card for final inspection.
- Test driving vehicles after work completion.
- Organise loan cars – have them ready when required – inspect them on collection and return.
- Ensure warranty standards are adhered to.
- Ensure cars are completed and cleaned on time for customers return.
- Park cars in Handover area when ready for collection.
- Managing workflow to ensure targets are achieved.
- Encourage & promote good CSI scores.
- Label and store warranty parts.
- Ensure Waste oil, oil filter bins & brake fluid collections are arranged regularly.
- Maintain constant workflow through the workshop including car sales vehicles for preparation.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Full Clean Drivers Licence
- Have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Be energetic, enthusiastic and able to work under pressure.
- Take pride in your work and enjoy working as part of a team.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
- Mechanical knowledge would be an advantage but not essential.
