Audi quattro Cup makes a triumphant return in 2022.

After a two year absence, the World's largest amateur golf competition made a return this summer. The Audi Waterford and Audi Wexford quattro Cup qualifying event was held in the beautiful Bunclody Golf Club on Friday 15th July 2022. The first time the event has taken place in Wexford.

120 players competed in a Scotch Foursome tournament, with the top 6 pairs progressing to the Audi Ireland quattro Cup Finals which will take place in Killarney in September. The National Finals winner will represent Ireland at the World Audi quattro Cup Final which are being held in Rome later this year.

Congratulations to PJ O'Farrell and Paddy Mullally who were the overall winners on the day.

We were absolutely blessed with great weather, a stunning course and a really competitive field of players. Everyone had a great day for sure.

Thank you to everyone who took part in this year's competition.

A special mention to Caroline Dunne and her team at Bunclody Golf Club for hosting such a fantastic event. A big thank you to Deirdre, Katie and Shane from Pluto Event Management and the guys from Automotive for running such a flawless event. Eddie our Golf Adjudicator had an easy day of ensuring all scores were recorded fairly and to thank you to Brendan Walsh from Audi Waterford and the Audi Wexford Events Team - Barry Devereux, Darren Flanagan and Adam Gethings.
