Wexford, July 2026: The 2026 Audi quattro Cup season continued with the Audi Wexford regional competition taking place on Thursday 9th of July. A total of 80 golfers in 40 teams took part in the tournament at the prestigious Bunclody Golf Club.
Terry Gilsenan and Brendan Casey were announced as the winners with a score of 45 points and now hold the celebrated title of Audi Wexford quattro Cup winners. Following a highly competitive day of golf, the winning pairing claimed victory by two points. The next five highest-ranked teams also progress to the final at Druids Glen Golf Resort on 8 September 2026.
The Audi Wexford quattro Cup is the sixth of nine regional quattro Cup events, with the remaining events scheduled to take place in July at some of Ireland’s leading Championship golf clubs, culminating in the Irish National Final.
The Audi quattro Cup is a team-based competition with each team consisting of two players and is open to Audi customers and their chosen teammate. The maximum handicap is 36 (index) per player and 56 (index) per team. The handicap difference between the players in a team must not exceed 20. Very limited places remain for 2026, Audi customers are encouraged to contact their local dealership for more information.
